Once Kobe moved to the U.S. from Cameroon, he knew quite a few challenges were waiting for him in the new country.

Emily and Kobe were warned by her parents to not get pregnant again once he moved to the U.S. However, Emily learned she was expecting even before their wedding took place. The couple kept the pregnancy a secret only to reveal it after the wedding was over. They began living in Emily’s parents’ basement, since both didn’t seem to have the finances to get a new home. Emily & Kobe Bought A New House Together

Kobe thought it would have been easier for them with the money they had saved. He even considered renting if they didn’t want to build a house. Emily didn’t think their kids were the right age for them to relocate to Africa and wished for them to grow up before thinking about it. As soon as Emily returned to the U.S., she learned she was having a third baby. This time, the couple had no option but to tell Emily’s parents about the situation. Emily and Kobe’s son, Koban, was four, while their daughter Scarlett was two.

According to InTouch, Emily and Kobe bought their first property in Salina, Kansas in November 2023. Emily was still pregnant at the time. She may have been determined not to welcome her new child while she was still living with her parents. Emily took out a $249,200 loan for a five-bedroom, three-bathroom home on November 20, 2023. The sale price of the 1,510-square-foot house was listed at $311,500, and it has four levels, including a spacious living room, an updated kitchen, and a large dining area, along with a ginormous basement that could be used for gaming or laundry.

Emily and Kobe welcomed their third baby in March 2024. They posted a black and white photo from the hospital to announce the baby’s arrival. Emily was in bed holding the newborn to her chest. The couple revealed that they had given birth to a baby boy and that they had named him Atem. He was named after Kody’s friend Valery, whose family name is Atem. Kobe wanted to honor his Cameroonian customs, but Valery had insulted Emily and tried to interfere in the marriage. Still, Emily embraced the name Atem and likes it now despite its history.

Emily Revealed Why She Didn’t Stand Up For Kobe

Kobe stood up against Angela to fight for Michael during the Tell All. An intense clash ensued when Kobe stepped in. He slammed Angela for mistreating Michael and called her out for saying how much she had disrespected Michael and that even a “fly can’t respect him.” Kobe also tried educating Michael about his visa and how it belonged to him and not Angela. Kobe got yelled at by Angela, but he didn’t back down. However, he was the only one who was calling out Angela’s behavior. Not even Emily, who stood there watching.

One of Emily’s followers (via 90dayfiance_alexa) asked her how she felt about being pregnant and not being able to defend Kobe in the altercation. Emily said that she was “super pregnant” at the time, and she had a whole plan in place with the production company if she went into labor while filming. She wasn’t allowed to do certain things, like not being allowed to be around liquor or people with cigarettes for her and her baby’s safety. Emily revealed that she did step in when Angela was attacking Kobe, but she was “taken out of the altercation immediately.”

Emily had got into the messy situation and started yelling, but production saw her and said, “Get Emily out of there right now.” The part seems to have not made it to the final episode.
