90 Day Fiancé

What Happened to Azan Tefou? is he ᴅᴇᴀᴅ!

90 Day Fiancé star Azan Tefou’s current whereabouts are a hot topic among fans after Nicole Nafziger recently shared some shocking Instagram posts about him. Azan from Morrocco, whose real name is Hassan M’Raouni, was first seen with Nicole in 90 Day Fiancé season 4. The couple’s relationship was a controversial one due to instances such as, Azan criticizing Nicole’s appearance when he first saw her, Nicole admitting she’d cheated on Azan, rumors of Azan being already married to his cousin, having multiple girlfriends around the world, etc. However, in 2024, Azan is in the news for the worst reasons.

Nicole and Azan’s relationship was criticized for how he never posted any photos of Nicole on his Instagram. It suggested their relationship never existed despite them having been together for over five years. Azan also didn’t seem to like any of Nicole’s posts on her page. Eventually, in July 2021, Nicole revealed that she and Azan had split following months of speculation. She doesn’t talk about her life after her breakup with Azan on social media much. However, Nicole does try to take advantage of fans by sharing clickbait posts which sometimes suggest Azan is ᴅᴇᴀᴅ or back with her.

Azan’s Last Instagram Feed Post Was In December 2020

Azan’s latest post on his Instagram feed was shared four years ago. Azan had posted on December 24, 2020, and it was just another fitness-related post. In the photo, Azan posed in his gym. Some gym equipment and a motivational poster could be seen in the back. Azan had photographed his torso and cropped his face and legs out. He was flexing, trying to show how strong and muscular he had become. His six-pack abs were the hero here and Azan seemed to have done his job well since the comments had praised his dedication.

“We are only done when we give up…”

Azan’s caption was cryptic. It could have referred to his relationship with Nicole or perhaps he was talking about fitness. Azan used a series of hashtags related to fitness and called himself a “#fitnessman.” The oldest comments on Azan’s photo show someone calling him “daddy” and his follower patty.schoenbron telling Azan, “You need a life partner with a similar physique.” The picture was a thirst trap like the rest of Azan’s uploads. It could have been a sign that he and Nicole were no longer together since Azan never gave any statement about their split at all.

Azan Resurfaced On Instagram In 2021 & 2022

The account being based in the U.S. could have also meant that Azan was in America and posting from there. Nicole may have been successful in getting him a K-1 visa, but she never spoke about it and neither did Azan since they’d decided not to share their story with 90 Day Fiancé anymore. Azan’s posts never revealed where he was. He could have also been sharing older photos of himself to mislead his followers. Interestingly, Azan does have some Stories added to his page. Highlights from January 2021 to March 2021 and the latest ones are from January 2022.

These are just selfies of Azan saying, “good morning” to his followers or more videos of him working out shirtless.

A few of his photos have been slapped with generic motivational quotes, mostly about fitness. The very last one posted in January 2022 has Azan’s selfie showing him smiling faintly in a wine-colored hoodie with the quote, “I changed myself for Myself.” Azan looks different in the picture as he has a beard and a new hairstyle which made it look recent. His background did not hint at his location and the selfie could have been clicked anywhere.

Was Nicole Using Azan’s Instagram All Along?

There were plenty of times that viewers had suspected Azan was never in control of the Instagram account. It appears it may have been Nicole who had not only been posting but had also created the Instagram page. A screenshot of Azan’s profile was circulated online in November 2020 which tried to expose Nicole. It was proof enough that the account had been made by Nicole for Azan if it wasn’t her posting from the start. Azan was likely sending her photos and Nicole posted them for him because he wasn’t Instagram savvy or something.

The account’s information page on Instagram said that it had been created on November 2, 2016, and revealed that it was based in the “United States.” Interestingly, the information isn’t available anymore. Whoever was behind posting using the account, whether it was Azan or Nicole, has now disabled the information. Instagram mentions, “not shared” under the section, “Account based in” which does make the entire situation look murkier.

Nicole Has Posted Clickbait About Azan Being ᴅᴇᴀᴅ

Nicole has come under fire for implying that Azan had passed away. Her heartless posts sometimes involved just a selfie of her and Azan, leading fans to believe that Azan was ᴅᴇᴀᴅ. However, the link that Nicole wanted them to click would lead to a shady website and an article about celebrity ᴅᴇᴀᴛʜs in that year. Nicole posted a similar Story hinting at Azan having died in April 2024. Nicole shared a picture of her with Azan captioned, “#RIP.” The link in her bio took viewers to an article about celebrities who fans will remember fondly in 2023.

Nicole Sparked Reconciliation Rumors With Azan In 2024

Nicole and Azan have been broken up for a while, but she did hint at a possible reconciliation this year. Nicole has been back to posting her signature clickbait posts on Instagram. She isn’t even putting any effort and creativity into making them different from what she’d posted before. Nicole mostly shared pictures of herself in black and white, which are basically screenshots of her scenes from 90 Day Fiancé. The posts and Stories both talk about Nicole having died and ask her followers to click on the link in her bio.

The posts disappear from Nicole’s Instagram feed after 24 hours, which means they are deleted manually. The comments are also turned off as Nicole doesn’t want any negative comments from angry fans on her scammy uploads. Interestingly, on August 17, 2024, Nicole’s clickbait post involved Azan. It was a collage of a selfie of Nicole and Azan with a sonograph that had Nicole’s name on it. It was captioned, “DREAMS DO COME TRUE” and hinted at Nicole being pregnant but, as expected, the 90 Day Fiancé star had linked it to an article about her split with her ex-boyfriend.
