Married At First Sight’s Former Participant’s Shocking Claims Prove That The Show Has Never Cared About Its Cast
Married At First Sight season 18 is still on the air with the same experts that have been featured throughout the last few seasons, one MAFS alumni has made it clear that the show has never cared about its participants. Throughout the run of Married At First Sight, there have been some participants who fared better than others during the experiment. MAFS has struggled to create successful couples through the last few seasons, and there have been more seasons in recent memory that don’t create any successful matches by the time the season comes to a close.
Married At First Sight season 18 may still be working through the experiment to see if any of the couples will end up together, but Married At First Sight season 15 initially featured three couples who said yes on Decision Day. Alongside Stacia Karcher & Nate Barnes and Justin Hall & Alexis Williams, Lindy Elloway & Miguel Santiago chose to stay together on Decision Day. The couple may have had a difficult time during the experiment, but their lives afterward were even tougher, and ultimately the pair chose to divorce after a year together post-show. Even so, Lindy’s come forward about her difficult experience on MAFS.
MAFS Season 15’s Lindy Shared Shocking Claims About The Show
Throughout Married At First Sight season 15, many felt that they weren’t going to see any of the matches wind up staying together, so when three said yes on Decision Day, it was a surprise. Lindy and Miguel had a tough time throughout the season, but their decision to stay together after Decision Day was the least surprising out of anyone. Even so, their time together after the show was difficult for viewers to watch.
Married At First Sight season 15’s Lindy was quiet throughout their year together post-show, but the couple had some serious difficulties and were left to fend for themselves as the show aired and viewers ripped them to shreds. Lindy and Miguel both fell into some difficult times, according to Lindy’s recent appearance on The TellAll Pod. Sharing that she had little support from the MAFS production team after the show, Lindy made it clear that while MAFS knew about how poorly she was doing, she wasn’t offered assistance outside of them offering to pay for some counseling.
MAFS Has Never Treated The Participants Well Through The Years
Although Married At First Sight participants are told about what can happen when the show hits airwaves, it’s clear that the producers aren’t clear and upfront about how bad things can get for their participants. While they go through a serious process during the experiment, the aftermath can be so much harder for those who are a part of MAFS. Producers don’t find themselves often looking for reasons to help the MAFS participants once the show is over, despite knowing that things aren’t easy for them as they move through their lives in the direct aftermath.
MAFS Needs To Be More Careful With Its Participants In The Future
Although Lindy is only one MAFS participant, she’s a great example of the way the show’s stars can be mistreated throughout their time in the experiment and afterward. The show needs to be kinder to their participants in the aftermath of the show and while it’s on the air, supporting them and helping them through the difficult emotions they may be experiencing. Married At First Sight participants need more support and a better atmosphere, as they share an incredibly intense time on screen for the world to see. The Married At First Sight producers need to be careful with participants.
