Married At First Sight Season 18’s Cast Is Worse Than Married At First Sight Season 17’s (Their Connections Are Unsustainable)
Married At First Sight season 18’s cast has been one of the most difficult to watch in seasons, making them even worse to deal with than the cast of MAFS season 17 because their connections are so unsustainable. Throughout Married At First Sight season 18, viewers have been able to get to know the cast of the season and learn more about them through their relationships. While the MAFS season 18 experts, comprised of Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Dr. Pia Holec, and Pastor Cal Roberson, have been doing what they can to help counsel the relationships, things aren’t going too well.
While the Married At First Sight season 18 cast has been struggling through their season, things haven’t been easy since the very beginning. With the couples having done their best to bond early on, couples like Emem & Ikechi and David & Michelle have been struggling since the earliest moments, while troubles developed for others like Madison & Allen, Karla & Juan, and Thomas & Camille have taken their time to get to the point where they have major problems. Even with some of the couples doing better than others, their connections feel strange and their ability to work through their problems doesn’t seem strong.
MAFS Season 17’s Cast Had A Major Scandal
Married At First Sight season 17’s cast, who hailed from Denver, quickly became an interesting group once they got to know one another, but something was off with their dynamics from the beginning. While MAFS season 17 was known for a few of the couples calling it quits early, those who made it through the season were harboring a major secret by the time they got to the end. After none of the pairs chose each other on Decision Day, they revealed that they’d been orchestrating the drama all season and none of what viewers saw on screen was genuine.
MAFS Season 18’s Cast Has Been More Genuine But Struggled
Although Married At First Sight season 17 left a major stain on the series, many were hopeful about the ability of the MAFS season 18 cast to revive the show. With the experts seemingly confident in their ability to match up the Chicago couples, viewers were anticipating success. Unfortunately, the connections built by the experts and followed through by the couples have been weak at best.
While a few of the couples could make it through Decision Day, it’s looking highly unlikely that the couples will make it through the experiment unscathed. While it does appear that the couples are genuinely trying to make their relationships work, the cast has not been able to find common ground within many of the pairs. While they’ve been more genuine than the previous season’s cast, Married At First Sight season 18’s cast hasn’t been a group that are interested in rooting for.
