Married At First Sight Fans Call This Season 18 Cast Member One Of The Worst In History After Jaw-Dropping Reveal
Married At First Sight fans have never seen “such remorseless callous display” on the show.
After MAFS season 18 revealed David Trimble and Madison Myers to be the subjects of the cheating scandal, David and Madison’s MAFS husband Allen Slovick had a discussion that made many fans’ blood boil. With David dismissing Allen’s anger and pain after putting his all into his marriage with Madison, viewers took to Reddit to share their annoyance. Regarding David’s behavior, SnooDoodles7204 shared, “Idk if I’ve ever seen such a remorseless callous display on mafs or reality tv period.” Seeing David turn so cold, so quickly was difficult for most, including Dextheconcept, who shared, “Worst groom in history.”
While David’s nice guy attitude was around all season, it disappeared when Allen challenged him. Throughout the episode, David and Allen had difficult moments discussing their relationships with Madison and made it clear that they weren’t going to be able to see eye-to-eye. While David knew that he was in the wrong, especially coming from a place of being in a Married At First Sight marriage himself, Michelle Tomblin’s groom took the title of villain to new heights. Making it clear that he didn’t care who he hurt with his words, David ruined any future he had with MAFS swiftly.
Our Take On The MAFS Cheating Scandal Fallout
Although Allen and Michelle have both had difficult moments throughout Married At First Sight season 18, neither of them deserved to be paired with people who felt comfortable cheating on them. Allen, who worked at his marriage all season and tried to be genuine with Madison at every turn, deserved someone who sees what a great person he is. Michelle, whose defenses were up throughout MAFS season 18, deserved to have her feelings about David validated rather than trashed. Both deserved better than Married At First Sight was able to give them this season, especially after this recent episode.
