Married at First Sight Alums Chris and Nicole Thielk Are Expecting Twins and Reveal Sᴇx of Their Babies on the Way

Married at First Sight alums Chris and Nicole Thielk are expanding their family!

The reality TV stars, who tied the knot during season 16 of the hit show, are expecting their first babies together — a set of twins — announcing the news exclusively with PEOPLE. The soon-to-be mom, 35, tells PEOPLE that she never expected to become pregnant with two babies at once, saying, “twins were never on my bingo card.”

“Twins were never on my bingo card, but then again, neither was marrying a stranger,” she tells PEOPLE. “I’m so blessed that both things have happened, and I can’t wait to be twin parents with the love of my life.”

She continues, “I truly can’t believe my luck sometimes, but then I remind myself that everything in my life has led me to this point and I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.”

Chris, 39, shares similar sentiments as his wife, telling PEOPLE that the duo is “extremely blessed and thankful” for this upcoming chapter in their lives.

“Nicole and I are extremely blessed and thankful to be opening this next chapter of our journey,” he says. “I mean, talk about being efficient. We marry as strangers and then not only end up with twins but end up with a boy and girl as our first try at being parents!”

He adds that the soon-to-be family of four will have no shortage of love between them, also sharing that he believes his wife will be “the best and most amazing” mother.

“These children will be so loved and Nicole is going to be the best and most amazing mom to them!” he says.

Echoing Chris, Nicole says that her husband has been “amazing” during her pregnancy and that she’s excited to see him as a father.

“Chris has already been amazing throughout this pregnancy and I’m excited to see him be the most wonderful father,” she shares. “Our dogs are also thrilled — not that they know what’s going on but they know their mama and dada extra happy lately.”
