‘MAFS’ Another Bride Runs Away In Season 18?

Following the worst season in Married at First Sight franchise history, Lifetime is plugging away with spoilers for Season 18. From the looks of it, there could be yet another runaway bride in the upcoming season. So what else can viewers expect?

Married At First Sight Season 17 In Denver Was The Worst In Franchise History

It took all of 17 seasons, but, Married at First Sight viewers and former cast members both agree that the Denver season was the worst yet in franchise history. What started out as a wholesome experiment to truly find love has devolved into cast members faking storylines and duping fans and producers for drama.

After the complete train wreck that the Denver season was, the consensus is that this was the lowest point of the entire franchise, which has been filming seasons since 2014. Many watchers agree that, at the rate things are going, the franchise is on its last legs.

Lifetime Wasted No Time Announcing New Season

With such an abysmal Season 17, Lifetime wasted no time announcing Season 18. Ironically, this is exactly the kind of churn mentality that many Married at First Sight fans agree is taking away from the integrity of the show. However, it’s clear that Lifetime is intent on keeping the train running.

Married at First Sight Season 18 will take place in the Windy City as Chicagoans hope to find love on the show. MAFS is making a return there. Successful couple Ashley Petta and Anthony D’Amico found love and made their marriage last.

After a disastrous Season 17 in Denver, it’s possible MAFS producers wanted to make sure they went back to a place where they previously had some success. Either way, new singles hope to find their forever when Season 18 eventually premieres.

Married At First Sight Season 18 Spoilers: Another Runaway Bride In New Season?

Married at First Sight Season 17 included a franchise first, a bride running from the altar. This was the case with the first woman that the experts paired Michael Shiakallis up with. In all the years that the show has been on the air, this had never happened before.

Based on the Married at First Sight trailer for Season 18, it looks like yet another bride could have cold feet. In the teaser for the new season, one of the brides asks herself: “Would it be the end of the world if I just literally didn’t do this?”

It’s possible this is some clever editing by production to stir the pot and create drama. However, with how bad Season 17 was, and with one bride running away, you never know what could be in store for the upcoming Chicago season.

As of this writing, Lifetime has yet to reveal a premiere date for the new season, so, Married at First Sight fans will want to stay tuned for that.
