Controversial 90 Day Fiancé Star Challenges Angela Deem To A Fight Amid Money Problems & Attempts To Get Michael Ilesanmi Deported
Angela has been watching Michael succeed in life without her help as he flaunts his glow-up and new Houston house a year since he moved to America.
Amid her agony, Angela has to deal with a surprising 90 Day Fiancé cast member wanting to face off with her in the ring. Paola Mayfield, who’s been a part of the franchise for far longer than Angela, recently gave an interview to AccessHollywood about her joining the upcoming season of WOW – Women of Wrestling after proving she was the “GOAT” of reality TV. Paola was asked if there was anyone from the franchise she’d want to wrestle in the ring.
“I feel like people will out me in the ring with certain people that I have some issues in the past and we already know but I’m not gonna mention that person.”
Paola said she didn’t want to kill somebody in the ring as the interviewer suggested she could have some friendly matches instead. The interviewer suggested Jasmine Pineda, but after a long thought, Paola added, “You know what, Angela… Angela will be awesome.” However, Paola was certain that Angela would not get in the ring with her because she would “be afraid.” Still, Paola agreed that it would be “awesome.”
It would be interesting to see if Angela would be able to physically fight someone like Paola, who is a professional wrestler now. Paola’s career trajectory after coming to the U.S. has been all sorts of interesting. Paola used to live in Bogotá, where she met Russ Mayfield and worked as a model while owning a company as a shoe designer. She continued modeling and acting after coming to the U.S. but also became a certified personal trainer and eventually ended up in the world of wrestling. Meanwhile, Angela is all bark and no bite.

Angela would much rather want to fight Michael, who she believes used her to get permanent resident status in the U.S. by fraudulently inducing her into marriage. Angela has not come face to face with Michael since he escaped from her house in February 2024, and it could be that they see each other directly in court where Angela is fighting a case to get the 90 Day Fiancé star deported. Still, interactions between the most unexpected cast members entertain fans a lot. It remains to be seen if Angela will take up the challenge and fight Paola.
