Chrisley Knows Best: Todd Chrisley Confesses He Stayed In Prison Just To Wreak Havoc — Got “Pleasure” From It!

Chrisley Knows Best fanbase has been celebrating. That’s because Todd and Julie Chrisley finally came home at the end of May 2025. It happened after President Donald Trump made the decision to pardon them. Earlier, they had been in prison for various crimes like bank & wire fraud, tax evasion, conspiracy, and so on. The court gave them a combined 19-year prison sentence, i.e., 12 for Todd and 7 for Julie.

However, the couple didn’t lose hope and faith, and now they are out. However, they have been facing tons of criticism since their release due to their arrogant attitude, especially Todd Chrisley. In a brand new podcast episode with his daughter, Savannah Chrisley, he admitted to a lot of unkind things when in prison. So, what did he say? What made him say such things? Let’s find out.

Chrisley Knows Best: Todd Discloses His Heated Spat With Felon William “Rick” Singer! Threatened Him With Violence

Chrisley Knows Best fans recently found out that Todd Chrisley opened up about a tense moment he had in prison with William Singer. The latter is known for the 2019 college admissions scandal. He has also been serving time at the Pensacola facility. Todd said the trouble started when Singer made a disrespectful comment about his daughter, Savannah. He couldn’t control himself when he heard Singer take his daughter’s name.

Todd warned him to never mention Savannah again. He told Singer he would “rip his head off” and also take a sh*t down his neck if he crossed the line one more time. Despite Singer claiming he wasn’t afraid, Todd made it clear he wasn’t joking. He was very clear that he was very protective about his kids, and that’s what made him so worked up. However, their feud didn’t turn physical at any point in prison.

Chrisley Knows Best: Todd Reveals His Goal Inside Prison Was To Make The Staff Suffer! Why So?

In the same podcast episode with his daughter Savannah Chrisley, Todd also spoke about how difficult his time in prison was. The Chrisley Knows Best star described the correctional officers as “miserable human beings.” He said his goal each day was to make their jobs just as miserable. Well, it was quite a surprising remark. The fanbase had hoped the star would come out of prison being kinder.

Surprisingly, Julie Chrisley backed him up during their podcast chat with Savannah. She agreed that the officers made life harder for the inmates. The couple felt they were treated unfairly by the staff. Todd explained that he always kept a strong mindset while locked up. He said, “I was in prison, but prison was not in me.” His focus was on faith, exercise, and helping fellow inmates. So, he stuck to doing that.

He also claimed he made good friends while inside. He spent his time reading the Bible and working out. And when he saw others being mistreated, he made sure to stand up for them. Earlier, Savannah had also advocated for her parents and talked about the inhumane conditions inside the prison.
