Julie Chrisley publicly spoke for the first time after coming out of federal prison in her latest interview for Fox News on My View With Lara Trump. The preview of the entire interview showed the mom revealing how she reacted to learning that Trump had granted her pardon through Savannah. The passing of one month has surprisingly returned her to her old state.
Yet, Julie can’t forget how much the full pardon meant to her on that day as she burst out crying. Not only did the news relieve her of her long 2022 prison sentence, but she also felt that she had reunited with her kids. She longed for them behind bars, and Savannah tried to expedite the court proceedings, but failed until she received a call from Trump’s office.

As Todd and Julie Chrisley are no longer inmates, their time is well spent on their new special episode of ABC News Studios’ IMPACT x Nightline. An episode named ‘The Chrisleys: Life After Lockup‘ will air this Sunday. Among all the couples who have been incarcerated, the former stars of Growing Up Chrisley are approached first.
For Todd and Julie’s bank fraud and tax evasion convictions, they will share their individual experiences. While he was initially given a 12-year sentence, she received 7 years in her ordeal. Last month, they thanked Trump and his officials for their heartfelt gesture towards them after Savannah’s appeal.
Savannah will join her mom and dad for their interview in the biggest “The Chrisleys: Life After Lockup” special. Apart from that, she will also hold up her practical experience in campaigns before their official release. The newly dropped trailer showed Todd with a guiltless face. He told host Juju Chang that his intention isn’t to repair anything.
“I don’t have an apology to give you or anyone else over the money that I’ve made,” Todd added. Before the recent interview question, he mentioned during a press conference that he won’t apologize for a mistake he hasn’t committed. Similarly, he kept the same stance and also clarified that Julie is also innocent.
