Chidi exposes Rayne for cheating on him with another blind Nigerian man while filming for the show
The drama between former Before the 90 Days Season 7 couple Chey and Renee has not ended, even after TLC fired them. Instead, both have taken to social media to expose each other, trying to sway viewers’ opinions on who the real villain in their relationship was.
Renee has broken her NDA multiple times, criticizing TLC producers for their shady editing practices that she claims make good people look bad and crazy on their reality TV shows. She has also publicly called Chey “a boy who uses his disability to gain sympathy from fans” and labeled his family as “a bunch of Nigerian scammers who only invited her to their home because TLC promised them money.”
Renee further claims that Chey sold her a dream and was very romantic when they were dating online. However, he changed completely once she visited him in Nigeria, becoming more conservative and hesitant to even touch her. Aware of Renee’s taunts against him and his family, Chey decided to defend himself in a series of now-deleted Instagram posts with long captions.
The Nigerian man explained his side of the story. Chey stated that he dated Renee online from 2018 to 2020, after which they broke up and barely talked for three years. Then, out of the blue last summer, Renee contacted him asking for another chance because she had been cast on a popular reality TV show and needed him to be her partner. She promised him money if he went along with her storyline and whatever the producers asked them to do.
Chey confessed that during their two-year-long distance relationship, he did engage in dirty talk with Renee. However, after they split, his Christian faith grew stronger, and he made a vow of celibacy, which he warned Renee about before she came to Nigeria to give their relationship another shot while filming for Before the 90 Days Season 7.
In one of his deleted Instagram post captions, Chey alleged that Renee dated another blind Nigerian man named Emanuel during their three-year split. When Chey confronted Renee and asked her to respect his celibacy vows, she got angry and tried to meet Emanuel in Nigeria while filming with Chey. The show producers refused to let Renee film with the new guy because they had not contacted him beforehand, and he was not part of their plan.
However, there is a strong possibility that Renee visited Emanuel after leaving Chey’s house, as she was acting desperate and angry during the whole trip to Nigeria. She was frustrated that she had spent a lot of money to fly to the African country and did not get what she wanted, which was a relationship with a blind Nigerian man.
