Bilal’s Terrifying Car ᴀᴄᴄɪᴅᴇɴᴛ: Hand Shattered & Hospitalized! Shaeeda’s Heartbreaking Response!

The life of Bilal Hazziez has never been without difficulties. From his professional career to his time on 90 Day Fiancé and managing a complicated cross-cultural relationship with Shaeeda Sween, he has consistently managed to overcome obstacles in life.

However, after a sudden vehicle ᴀᴄᴄɪᴅᴇɴᴛ, he sensed a new type of vulnerability. While lying in a hospital bed with his leg immobilized in a thick cast, it wasn’t just the physical agony that bothered him. What hurt him the most was the look of fear and sadness in Shaeeda’s eyes.

Since the ᴀᴄᴄɪᴅᴇɴᴛ, Shaeeda had seldom left his side. She was usually holding his hand, sitting in the hard plastic chair near his bed. The warmth of their home—which had just been filled with their newborn son’s shouts and laughter—stood in sharp contrast to the sterile hospital room.

She looked at Bilal’s face, which still had remnants of the strength he always radiated, even when he was at rest. However, that strength was insufficient this time to protect her from the overpowering feeling of vulnerability that had descended upon her.

It had been a horrible ᴀᴄᴄɪᴅᴇɴᴛ. Bilal had been heading home from a conference one minute, and the next, she was getting a desperate call telling her that his car had been hit. In that instant, her entire world had shifted.

Uncertain of what she would discover, she had hurried to the hospital, her pulse racing with each step. The sight of him lying there, hurt and exposed, soon eclipsed the comfort of seeing him alive.

Days later, Shaeeda was still having trouble processing everything, imagining all the “what ifs” that plagued her thoughts. She had spent endless hours replaying the moment she nearly lost him. She kept thinking about how their boy would grow up without the father who had worked so hard to provide for them.

She wiped away a stray tear, her hands shaking beside her. Bilal stirred, his eyes opening and closing with a faint but friendly grin.

“Are you still here?” he said quietly.

“Obviously,” she said, her voice trembling. “What other place would I be?”

Notwithstanding his weakness, he grasped her hand firmly. “You appear worn out, Shaeeda. You ought to return home, relax, and see the baby.”

She gave a violent shake of her head. “I am unable to. I must be with you here. What if something occurs? What if I am needed?”

“Shaeeda,” Bilal whispered softly, “I’m all right. I’ll get better. The doctors claimed it’s only temporary. I’ll be okay, but I’ll be limping around for a while. You don’t need to bear all of this anxiety.”

She was unable to look him in the eyes as tears began to well up once more. “You’re not understanding,” she said. “Bilal, I nearly lost you. Can you imagine how that felt—to believe you might not return to us?”

Bilal pulled her hand to his chest as his face softened. “I apologize,” he replied in an emotionally charged voice. “I never intended to subject you to that. But now I’m here. I will not be leaving. You and our son are everything to me. I’ll make sure that I live for a very long period. I will stop at nothing.”

In that moment, Shaeeda gave him a serious glance and noticed the resolve in his eyes. She gave a slow nod, allowing his words to fully register.

“I simply…” her voice broke as she said, “I love you so much and can’t let you go. Never, ever.”

“You won’t,” he assured her. “We’ve experienced too much to allow anything to bring us down.”

Bilal returned home a few weeks later. The sight of their comfortable living room felt like a victory, even if he was still on crutches and moving slowly.

Shaeeda had gone above and beyond to ensure that everything was ideal for his recuperation. Their son’s toys were strewn all over the floor. Pillows adorned the couch, and a blanket covered the armrest, serving as a reminder of the happiness that had entered their lives only a month before.

Shaeeda’s gentle, encouraging hands assisted him in lowering himself onto the couch.

“Be careful,” she said, keeping a watchful eye on him as he became comfortable.

“I’m all right,” he responded, chuckling a little. “I’m going to feel like I’m 80, thanks to you.”

Her eyes were still filled with worry, but she smiled.

They turned to see their son squealing with glee from his playmat. Picking him up, Shaeeda brought him over to Bilal. She held the infant out to him and remarked, “Someone has been waiting for his daddy.”

As Bilal embraced his son and held the small bundle against his chest, his expression brightened.

“Hey, little man,” he whispered quietly, amazement in his voice. “Have you missed me?”

In response, the infant gurgled and used his little fingers to clutch Bilal’s shirt.

The room was filled with Bilal’s deep, sincere laughter, which helped relieve some of the tension that had persisted since the ᴀᴄᴄɪᴅᴇɴᴛ.

“This is what it’s all about,” he added, turning to face Shaeeda. “He and you. Everything else is irrelevant.”

With her head resting on his shoulder, Shaeeda sat next to him.

“We nearly lost everything,” she whispered softly, her voice full of passion.

“However, we didn’t,” Bilal said, turning to face her. “And we won’t. We’ll confront whatever comes our way as a team.”

The warmth of their love and the silent comfort of being together enveloped the three of them as they sat there.

Even though the road ahead would still be difficult—physical therapy for Bilal, sleepless nights with their infant, and the normal trials of life—it didn’t matter at the time. It was sufficient that they had each other.

Bilal and Shaeeda smiled at each other as their son squealed joyfully once more. Their relationship was unbreakable. Even though the future was unknown, they knew they could overcome anything together.
