The pregnancy was challenging for Annie, who faced health issues amid her move to Thailand with David. Annie had to deal with back pain, heartburn and more, amid losing her grandmother. While things had been going smoothly for Annie and her baby in the past couple of months, fans were devastated to hear that Minthira contracted a respiratory infection.

David and Annie’s baby has been in the hospital for the past few days due to a virus, and there’s finally some good news for fans.

David shared a picture of Annie gently smiling while holding baby Minthira in her lap. He thanked his fans and friends for all the prayers and positive messages sent to the family during their trying times. He added that Minthira had a chest X-ray done, and they’re still waiting for the doctor to go over the report.

“On a great note her IV was removed yeaaaaaaa.”

Meanwhile, Minthira had to be placed on an IV after refusing to eat, but it has now been removed. The doctor told David and Annie that if her condition continues to improve, she may be well enough to return home by Thursday or Friday.

David and Annie never wanted to become parents when they first got married. They kept dodging questions about when they would have a baby. They referred to their 90 Day Fiancé viewers as their children. David considered himself to be too old to have kids. His own kids from his previous marriage were almost as old as Annie. David didn’t have a good relationship with them.

David had also gotten a vasectomy done. Annie dealt with PCOS-related issues. However, David and Annie did decide to become parents in late 2023, and their IVF treatment was a success, with a healthy Minthira being born in 2025. David and Annie wanted Minthira to be born in Thailand so she could have dual citizenship. The couple never revealed when Minthira would travel to the U.S.

David was getting Minthira’s documents ready in the meantime. She got her Thai passport, her U.S. citizenship, and her Social Security number just before she fell sick. David and Annie might have planned to fly home in the next few weeks, but now, they might have to wait until Minthira has fully recovered before they travel anywhere. For now, the baby’s health is of the utmost importance.
