He described the prison where he served as a “Busted, broke little summer camp.” Chrisley admitted that it was a much easier facility to be at than where his wife, Julie Chrisley, served her time.

Despite the relative ease of getting through his sentence, Chrisley admitted he frequently “told staff off.” He made it clear there was no love lost in terms of how he regarded the prison staff.

“I was surrounded by miserable human beings,” Chrisley declared.

He shared, “And every day I got up, and it was my sole intent to make their life even more miserable because they were there to make our lives miserable.”

Chrisley also noted his astonishment that other prisoners would “buddy up to the staff.” He admitted he would question them on why they thought the staff were “friends,” explaining that in his mind, “It is us against them.”

As Chrisley Knows Best fans reacted to the episode on YouTube, many noted they would love to see Julie return for a solo episode. Others praised Todd for his sass.
