Veah is a 27-year-old from Florida who flew to South Africa to meet her online boyfriend, Sunny Mahdi, for the first time in person. Veah Only Weighs 90 Pounds
In October 2024, Veah (via therealitytvmess) posted a selfie showing her standing in front of the mirror and looking incredibly thin. She wrote that a couple of months after coming home from South Africa, she started getting sick and went from doctor to doctor “no one could figure it out.” Veah wrote that her situation started getting worse and got to the point where she “became bedridden” and it “hurt to swallow.”
Veah added that she was also hospitalized a few times and kept under observation for a few days. Veah revealed that she slowly started losing a lot of weight. She mentioned that her current weight is 90 pounds, and she was still trying to figure it out. Veah told her concerned Instagram followers that she was finally seeing the right doctors. She admitted that she was having her good days and bad days.
Veah Is Not Present At The Tell All
Veah filmed the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Tell All sometime in October 2024. Veah was not present on set and explained, through video call, that she was down by 50 pounds. She spoke about feeling sick after coming home and experiencing “like, a lot of shortness of breath.” Veah admitted that even swallowing had become super painful, and it led to her losing a lot of weight. “After months of doing tests, you know, they were able to find gallstones,” she continued. Veah believed they were on the right track to get it all figured out.
Veah Says She Has Brain Tumor
Veah never mentioned anything about having a brain tumor on the Tell All, but she took to Instagram to make a shocking confession after the episode. She said she had been hesitant to answer questions about her health because she hadn’t been well. She wished for her post to “reach the right person & maybe I can get the help I need.” Veah revealed she was diagnosed with a “brain tumor” that was severely affecting her life before she filmed the show in South Africa.
“After processing that for a couple months & coming home from SA, I decided I wanted to try some natural ways to see if my body would get rid of the tumor or shrink it.”
A licensed life coach suggested Veah could try lymphatic draining and she started visiting a licensed lady who used a massage gun on the lymph nodes in her chest, armpit, and neck area. Veah then started experiencing a lot of shortness of breath. Doctors couldn’t connect the dots that the lymphatic drainage was doing it. She continued seeing the massage therapist and “All of a sudden, I could no longer swallow anything including my own spit, I was spitting up blood, and within a few days, I could no longer walk.” It resulted in several ER visits and few hospitalizations.
Veah saw specialists for her condition but the “invasive” tests they conducted didn’t reveal what was wrong. She claimed that these tests would erase whatever little progress she was making, leading to her being bedridden for days or months. “I haven’t been able to eat any food for about 6 months and have relied strictly on ensures,” Veah said.
