Stevi Nichole’s big secret on 90 Day Fiancé is enough to make Mahdi end their relationship and head home to Iran. Stevi is from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, while Mahdi is from Tehran, Iran. Stevi is a painter, but she also works as an English teacher to help pay the bills as a single mom of two kids. It was during one of her online classes that she met Mahdi, who was her student. Stevi and Mahdi met in person in Turkey before they decided that Mahdi would come to the U.S. on a K-1 visa.
Stevi’s introduction on 90 Day Fiancé season 11 was her making a live painting with a nude model. Once done, she handed over the painting to the woman, telling her she looked amazing and revealing that it was a client. Stevi revealed that she loves painting abstract art but only recently had she started painting nudes. She said that she liked how painting nudes helped her with normalizing different body types. Stevi explained that a lot of times in the real world, people forget that they are beautiful, “but yet they can look at a painting and see that,” Stevi added.

Once Mahdi entered Stevi’s house, he noticed the nude paintings. He asked her why she had “b***bs” in the house. “I see b**bs everywhere,” Mahdi told the cameras. He said there were “too many” and didn’t understand why. Mahdi commented that these were “not paintings.” Stevi reminded Mahdi that she made nude portraits. Mahdi added that coming from a country where one might get arrested if they had pictures of nude women on them, it was really hard for him to see a house that was house is full of “blue pictures.”
Mahdi also saw a shirtless picture of him that Stevi had painted. It was a mirror selfie with Mahdi using his phone to take the picture and, behind him, Stevi had painted herself in the nude. Mahdi commented that he didn’t know Stevi was doing this “a lot.” He admitted he was trying hard to see the artistic side to these paintings, but he couldn’t and that there were so many other things that she could paint. “I just like, it just doesn’t make sense to me,” Mahdi commented before adding, “I’ve been always wondering if Stevi is into women.”

Mahdi recalled Stevi always telling her that she didn’t like men. She told him that she didn’t like painting men and that she didn’t want to be close to men. He confessed how he’d been left questioning if there was something more. He added that if Stevi told him she was Bɪsᴇxᴜᴀʟ “or something like that” he would think he was getting catfished. “She’s going to lose my trust,” he added. While Stevi has not spoken about it on the show, the trailer showed Mahdi struggling with the news that Stevi is Bɪsᴇxᴜᴀʟ.
