Armando and Kenny connected through an online group for gay single dads. Kenny never had a wife and had four children while Armando was raising Hannah on his own after the tragic death of his pregnant wife in an accident. Armando and Kenny’s relationship was put to the test when the Florida man moved to Mexico to marry Armando.
Kenny and Armando went through several obstacles to finally marry in May 2021. Interestingly, one thing that always gets overlooked in Kenny and Armando’s relationship is their age gap. Despite Kenny’s youthful looks, he is 26 years older than his husband. So when it came to Armando’s wish to have a baby, Kenny was taken aback. Kenny considered himself too old to raise a child all over again. He was worried he wouldn’t be around to watch the child grow and have a life of his own.
Kenny & Armando Are Launching A New Business
Armando and Kenny recently announced the launch of their new picture book. The children’s book is called “You, Me & Our Families – A Campfire Tale” and, as per Armando, it is the perfect book for all families, showcasing love, empathy, and friendship. Armando asked his followers to enjoy the meaningful messages of the book together with their little ones by ordering the book from Amazon or from their website. Armando and Kenny have co-authored the book. It seems to have been inspired by their own parenting journeys of being single dads and now having a beautiful blended family.
90 Day Fiancé fans helped the book reach the number-one spot in new book releases. However, is that enough success for the pair to enjoy? Armando and Kenny chose to launch it in two languages for it to reach a wider audience. However, it’s not the first time that Kenny and Armando have tried to make money off their fans by launching online businesses. They have a website where they sell things like the bows their daughter Hannah wore on the show, candles, coasters, and t-shirts. They have experience of monetizing their fame well.
Having A Baby (& Raising One) Is Expensive
The fact that Kenny and Armando keep launching one new product after another to sell online adds weight to the rumors that they haven’t been doing well financially. When Kenny wasn’t too keen on having a baby with Armando, he kept mentioning that he was too old to become a father again. However, Kenny might have felt embarrassed to admit that it was the cost that was scaring him more. Kenny confirmed that it was going to cost them $72,000, which isn’t a small amount. Moreover, they already have one pre-teen child they have to raise.
Do Their Jobs Cover Their Expenses?
Armando and Kenny haven’t been transparent about their current jobs with 90 Day Fiancé fans. Armando’s family owns a pet spa and boarding location in San Felipe, and he used to work there on TOW season 1. He also happens to be an architect and is great at designing too. Kenny used to work in real estate before he moved to Mexico. It’s not known if they still have full-time jobs or if they rely solely on things like their 90 Day Fiancé appearances, Cameos, online shop, etc., but are their earnings enough to foot the bills?
