Veah betrayed Sunny by not telling him she was getting Rory along as flying to a new country gave her anxiety. Sunny had already shown Veah his jealous side. However, he became consumed with his desire to covert Veah.

As Veah dealt with her partner forcing her to embrace his religion or break up, she was also silently dealing with a medical condition. Veah revealed she has a brain tumor that was diagnosed before she went to South Africa. Veah was advised to do lymphatic draining, which further worsened her condition. She couldn’t walk or eat for about six months and ended up losing 50 pounds from eating only ensures. Veah is nowhere near to finding out what is wrong with her body because, on the Tell All, she claimed she was unwell due to gallstones.

Veah & Sunny Split After Getting Engaged

Sunny whisked Veah off to the Drakensberg mountains for a quick getaway to celebrate their first anniversary of being together. However, the outing soon turned sour when Sunny decided he was going to tell Veah that he was sure about a Muslim and needed her to convert. Veah put her foot down and Sunny eventually gave in. Sunny proposed to Veah after taking her on a hike. Veah said yes, as Sunny said he would not give up, pushing Veah to embrace Islam even though he went against his father with the engagement.

Before the Tell All, Veah revealed she had been financially supporting Sunny. Even the cheap ring he gave her was bought with Veah’s money. However, Sunny’s dependence on Veah for money was not the reason why they split. What upset Sunny was that Veah had gone on a date with the man who babysat her dog when Veah went to South Africa. However, since the date, Veah and Sunny were able to work things out. They got together again “for months.” They were broken up for about a month, but Veah realized that, ultimately, Sunny was the only person in her heart.
