90 Day Fiancé: Dempsey calls out Statler for being RACIST
Well, well, Statler does not stop. Statler is continuing, okay? Speaking about Dempsey, Dempsey has also responded. To further add to the previous video that I made, Statler has two more posts. After that, we’re going to get into exactly what Dempsey had to say.
As you can see right here, Statler says, “I don’t ask for much, but if you feel called, please comment or DM her account. Ask that she return Wishbone and Elroy to me; they’re my world, and unfortunately, she knows that.”
Okay, so that’s response number one. She also continues by saying, “Yes, I’m well aware this is a form of manipulation—keeping them and my belongings from me. The red flags were always there. I saw them and take responsibility for the position I’m in.”
So, these are the two additional posts that she made on her stories. But here’s the thing: Dempsey has now responded. As you can see here, Dempsey decided to share screenshots of a conversation that she had with Statler. As you can see, it does say up top: “Monday, August 19th.” Dempsey says, “I want my things back, please,” and this is Statler speaking. She responds by saying, “I’ll send you them when I’m back in Nottingham.”
Statler then messaged again the following day, “Tuesday, August 20th,” guessing, “You aren’t going to the TA either?” The conversation seems to end there.
Now, also to add, Dempsey says, “I’m not normally one to get involved in tit-for-tat online melodrama, but enough is enough. I am sick of being bullied and having malicious lies spread about me.” Here is proof that I agreed to send her Teddies back when I return home. I have been actively working and traveling without being home for a period of time. They will be returned when I am back, so no, I am not holding them hostage.
So, obviously, this is back in August. As you can see from the screenshot, we are pretty much approaching November. The question is: when is Dempsey going to be back home in Nottingham to finally send Statler her stuff back? I can imagine why Statler would probably still be thinking, “You’re not going to send them,” because this was August, and we’re literally now entering November soon. It’ll be winter, you know, and therefore I can understand her obviously feeling like, “I feel like you’re playing a game. I feel like you’re trying to manipulate the situation.”
But this wasn’t the only thing that Dempsey had to say. She had more to say. Let’s get into it. Dempsey starts off by saying, “I have kept quiet for so long because my peace and my mental health are worth more to me than having to prove myself. Anyone online bullying, lies being spread about me, and defamation of character are all things that a specific person is doing to me to try and ruin my life. I have the power to back myself up, prove it, and yet I do not. Bringing my family into things, spreading lies about my culture, being downright racist towards them and the people I love is utterly disgusting.”
Yo, she just called Statler racist! Let’s just let that one sink in. I’m guessing this may be referring to the Gypsy comment; I’m not too sure, but hey ho.
So for the people who don’t know the whole truth, there are always two sides to a coin. Just because someone decides to keep quiet and not tell their story should be respected. So think next time you decide to jump on a bandwagon you know nothing about. Social media bullying kills. Remember that. Regardless of everything that has been said, I wish her the best, and I hope she will leave me alone going forward.
Damn, what a political freaking response! Now listen, there are certain things she said in that response that are not lies. We know that online bullying is a thing, 100%. Whether or not Statler is bullying online is a different conversation. She does say that Statler has been spreading lies about her. Again, we don’t know if what Statler is saying is the truth or if what Dempsey is saying is the truth.
So really and truly, it does go back to the fact that there are two sides to a coin. But we all know there may be two sides to a coin: one side is you, the other side is the other person, but then there is also the truth. You know what I mean? The truth is always the one that we only really know about when somebody provides us with evidence.
Now, credit where credit is due: I will give Dempsey the benefit of the doubt in terms of the fact that she did turn up with a form of proof. I think, to be honest, when somebody is already defending themselves and they come out with a form of proof, that is a good start, rather than people who just come out with just a statement and the statement brings you no proof whatsoever. That’s just like, “Okay, whatever, you’re just saying something.”
Now, just to say something, you know what I mean? So I give her credit for that at least.
But again, listen, it’s definitely a situation where it’s up to us to decide who we believe or if we just generally even care, or if we’re just here for the drama. Me? I’m just here for the drama, to be honest with you. That’s just that. You know what I mean?
So let’s just go back to what Dempsey said again. She has flat-out called Statler racist. That is crazy! I want to know your thoughts on this. Now I’m going to have to go back and watch the video that I made before this, re-read or re-listen to what I had to say. For something that I really do like, I cannot stand my own voice personally, and I want to see exactly what Statler obviously said prior. You know what I’m saying? And be like, “Hmm, maybe that’s what she meant.”
I think it may be in the Gypsy comment; I’m not too sure. But hmm, that got me thinking, to be honest with you. Either way, feel free to do the same thing that I’m going to do. But let me know your thoughts. Do you think Statler has been racist towards Dempsey, or do you think Dempsey has been way over the top? Also, who do you believe in this story? Do you think Statler has been telling the truth, or Dempsey is now, you know, finally telling the truth?
For me personally, I will say this: Dempsey’s response, especially the second one, was way too political for me. Way too—PR is the wrong word. It was way too PR team, to be honest with you. Which doesn’t mean that she’s lying; it just means that, yeah, okay.
