90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days couple Veah Netherton and Sunny Mahdi seem to have broken up for the second time since their engagement on season 7. Veah from Florida and Sunny from South Africa matched on a dating app a year before they met in person on the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off. Veah was extremely anxious about the trip and created controversy by taking her ex-boyfriend Rory along with her to Durban while keeping Sunny in the dark about it.

Sunny developed trust issues with Veah. However, once Veah was able to worm her way out of the Rory situation, she had to deal with Sunny’s father, who refused to accept Veah as a wife for his son. Sunny insisted Veah convert to Islam and didn’t approve of Veah’s tattoos. Sunny pushed Veah into following his father’s rules even though he himself never followed his religion. The topic of conversion created quite a bit of friction between Veah and Sunny, but eventually, he realized he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Veah and went against his family.

Veah & Sunny Split After The Finale

Veah and Sunny had something shocking to share with their co-stars at the Before the 90 Days Tell All. Despite the romantic proposal by the waterfall in the finale, where Veah said yes to Sunny and he put the conversion topic to rest, Veah and Sunny had split after she returned to the U.S. Veah and Sunny were planning to apply for his K-1 visa in the finale but Veah revealed that they were still struggling a little bit with the situation, especially with Sunny’s dad not agreeing to their union.

“And so we ended up breaking up,” Veah confessed.

Veah Began Seeing Someone After The Split

Veah and Sunny had talked two or three times since she came back home before they mutually agreed to split. However, Sunny was unable to move on from Veah and was tracking her moves on social media. She started seeing someone in the U.S. but it wasn’t Rory. He got jealous when he saw Veah going on a date with a man she’d introduced to Sunny as her friend. Veah went to Disneyland with her dogsitter but insisted she hadn’t kissed the man on their date and that she hadn’t cheated on Sunny because they were not together when it happened.

Veah & Sunny Got Back Together

Sunny didn’t want to bother Veah because he knew she needed space. Sunny had kept thinking, “how could you do that?” Sunny was upset because Veah had said the man was her friend. Veah maintained that she never cheated on Sunny. She said the date took place a couple of weeks later after they broke up. Sunny and Veah still worked through their differences and managed to put the Disneyland date in their past. They had reunited for the Tell All even though Sunny openly declared he wasn’t done trying to convert Veah yet.

Sunny Calls Veah A Liar In Cryptic Instagram Update

However, after the Tell All, Sunny took to Instagram (via 90dayfiance_alexa) to hint at a shocking update on his relationship with Veah. The reunion was filmed in October 2024, and it looks like, in the past few months, Sunny and Veah have split again. Sunny posted a cryptic Story where he wrote, “Your past should be a lesson, not a tool for seeking sympathy or attention.” Sunny added, “Stop looking for attention and relying on people to save you” before continuing, “Go fund me coming soon stop lying to the people.” Sunny seemed to be hinting at Veah launching a fundraiser soon.

Veah has recently opened up about having had a brain tumor even when she flew to South Africa to meet Sunny. She only mentioned having gallstones on the Tell All, but according to Veah, she had lymphatic drainage done after coming back to America, due to which she could no longer walk, was spitting up blood, and couldn’t swallow anything. Veah told her fans she’d given up on doctors and was relying on prayers to heal. However, she did ask her followers to help find her a doctor to treat nerve damage.

Sunny & Veah Are No Longer Following Each Other

A 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days fan reached out to Veah after Sunny posted the Story implying that she was a liar. The fan asked her, “Are you going to start a go fund me?” Veah replied that she had never asked any of her followers for money. She mentioned that anyone who knows her would know she would never do it. Veah seemed to be throwing shade at Sunny and accusing him of not knowing her. Interestingly, both Sunny and Veah are no longer following each other on Instagram.
